Calista Nutrition is an established Dietetic and Nutrition practice, founded in Clontarf in 2005 by Margaret Donnelly. We provide comprehensive, individual diet and nutrition advice for a wide range of clinical conditions and for everyday health and wellbeing — in person in Dublin 3 and online throughout Ireland.

About the Company


Calista Nutrition is an established Dietetic and Nutrition practice based in Clontarf. Set up in 2005 by Margaret Donnelly, a professionally qualified Dietitian and Nutritionist, the practice provides individual, client-centred care — in person in Clontarf and online throughout Ireland.

We offer comprehensive diet advice on the management of a wide range of clinical conditions, and advice to optimise your nutritional health and wellbeing. Clients are seen on an individual basis, and you may choose an in-person consultation in Clontarf or an online consultation by video call.

Calista Nutrition also offers a nutrition consultancy and advisory service to companies and institutions.

About Margaret Donnelly – Dietitian and Nutritionist

Margaret has over thirty years of experience working as a Dietitian and Nutritionist. She is CORU registered and a member of the Irish Nutrition and Dietetic Institute.

Over the last twenty-five years, Margaret worked as Dietitian and Dietetic Manager at Mater Private Network Dublin, where she gained extensive experience and expertise across a wide range of clinical conditions and specialties. She also worked as Consultant Dietitian to the Allergy Clinic at Blackrock Clinic for sixteen years.

Prior to this, she held the position of Clinical Lecturer in Dietetics at TUD (previously DIT), and also worked at St. James’s Hospital Dublin.

Margaret is a trained FODMAP Dietitian (King’s College London). She is committed to continuing professional development, ensuring that every client receives nutritionally and scientifically sound advice. She has given many presentations, media interviews and lectures to members of the public and to fellow professionals.

In Ireland, “Dietitian” is a legally protected title that may only be used by professionals registered with CORU, the state regulator of health and social care professions. The Irish Nutrition and Dietetic Institute (INDI) is the professional body for dietitians in Ireland.
